Dr. Andrea Roccuzzo completed his undergraduate studies in dentistry (DDS) at the University of Torino, Italy in July 2015. In January 2016, he was awarded an IAO Scholarship at the University of Copenhagen Rigshospitalet under the mentorship of Prof. S.S. Jensen in the department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, where he is now Research Fellow. Between 2017 and 2018 he entered a multidisciplinary private practice in Torino, Italy. Between January 2019 and December 2021, he has been a Post-graduate Student in Periodontology and Implant Dentistry (EFP Accredited Program) at the Department of Periodontology, University of Bern, Bern, CH. In January 2021 he has been awarded an International Team for Implantology (ITI) Scholarship at the “Clinic for Fixed & Removable Prosthodontics – Dental Material Science”, University of Zurich (Director: Prof. R.E. Jung). Since September 2021 is a PhD Candidate at the “Graduate School for Health Sciences” at the University of Bern, Bern, CH. He is a Board Certified Periodontist of the European Federation of Periodontology (EFP) and of the Swiss Society of Periodontology (SSP).
